Meet the Team of InMotion Junior Golf

Todd Tanner is a native of Utah with more than 21 years of competitive, recreational and educational golf experience.  He has had a very successful playing career locally and throughout the world.  Todd has had competitive experience, qualifying for the PGA Tour FBR Open in Scottsdale Arizona, and playing in 13 PGA Nationwide Tour Events.  He has successfully made it through to the second stage of PGA Tour School on two occasions and has played on the Canadian Tour for 5 years.

Todd has had tremendous success in helping other build and develop sound fundaments, competitive drive and enjoying the game of golf.  Todd has experience teaching all age groups and abilities he is sure to meet the needs of your junior.  Todd has been the Director of Instruction for the past 3 years and the Junior Golf Academy and most recently the Black Clover Golf Academy.

Golf is a large part of Todd’s life and he enjoys helping others find their passion for the game.

Stacey Parkinson Jones was born in Cherry Hills, New Jersey but has spent most of her time here in Utah. Stacey attended Lone Peak High School where she played Varsity golf for all four years. She was Captain of Boys Team her senior year, when teams were coed.

Stacey’s drive and dedication to the game helped her obtain a full ride golf scholarship to Weber State University, where she spent the first two years of her college. She later transferred to Utah Valley University to finish out her degree and her amateur collegiate golf career. She graduated with a Bachelors in Exercise Science in December 2011.

Stacey has continued to pursue her passion and involvement in golf. In 2011 Stacey started her Professional Golf Career by joining the PGA of America and has become a U.S. Kids certified Instructor. Stacey has become one of the leading ladies in Utah to help further women’s golf and brings attention to the sport. She continues to play in Utah Section PGA events competing with the men.

In 2012 she partnered with Todd Tanner to start InMotion Junior Golf and has helped introduce golf to over 2,000 students. Stacey has coached high school golf and helped her students obtain college scholarships. Stacey wants all her students to have the passion and love of the game she has. Golf has given her so many opportunities and has a desire to give back.

We welcome students beginners-advanced, ages 4-18 years. Indoor programs are offered November through March. 523 N. 1000 W., Lindon City.

Seasonal golf course transition & intermediate/advanced on course programs (range and short game practice, 3-9 hole supervised group playing lessons).

The program includes ways to strengthen kids overall fitness, coordination, and the basic fundamentals of the golf swing.

We offer private and group lessons at a variety of locations through out the valley. Video and swing analysis Included.
